Thanks, man. I haven't reached the progress you've made yet. But I'm slowly getting there!

I think the centerlines look way better than the slots. The cragars look good too.

I liked the way the car looked with both. I may have to try Cragars this time.

Hey, I really haven't done much myself lately. I drive it once a week, but you're making way more work than I've ever done myself.

No progress has really been made, but my plans sure have changed...
I was gearing up to do some neglecting of the Bee while I dove into a much more budget friendly project, an A-body. That kind of got derailed when I hit the swap meet in Columbus a couple weeks ago. Right now I'm rolling on some 15x7" steel wheels with red stripe caps and Mickey Thompson tires, but I've pretty much regretted selling my Auto Drags since I did it. But they paid for my rocker arms, so I digress.

I ended up buying a set of 4, 15x10's for the rear and 15x6's for the front for a little more than a single wheel cost new. Now that is a recoverable expense, of course. Nothing a couple hours of well placed overtime can't fix. But then I was perusing For B-Bodies Only in the parts section, looking for something or other and ran across a black 4-door '69 Coronet. Pics looked solid, there wasn't a lot of interest, and once I called and talked to the guy about it...

The car is super solid, the trunk floor, extensions, lower quarters, and tail panel, all which need help on my car, are darn near perfect. The fenders are not the nicest I've owned, but they are better than the ones on the Bee, and there is no rot in the dog leg. They are solid. GTSuperbee actually started parting the car, which is native to Ohio, and if he hadn't it might be tempting to drive the darn thing. But it will give its life to make my Bee complete. I now have all the metal I need to do the Bee except for a roof skin, the back window metal, and if the right quarter is really bad, I'll need one of those, as well.

So at this point, it's still possible to strip the parts car, make some of my money back, and pursue the A-body again.
When I woke up one day last week after work, I was cruising the Book, and found a set of seat covers for my Bee from a fellow Facebook/Moparts member. They were used, but still in amazing shape. A couple small spots on the front seat bottoms need repaired. The back seat is immaculate.
So at this point, I stopped fighting it. There are too many things being thrown my way to ignore, so onward I go on the Bee. I would love to take it to the Mopar show at Trails in May, and being 50 years of Super Bee at Carlisle, there is a strong urge to make it there, too. So it's time to develop a plan and get to work.
Stay tuned, folks...

nice score! Hey a buddy is redoing a '69 four door, and needs these three brackets. They go from the tail light panel to the crossmember for the rear bumper...

I know the ones I have are good. Let me see if I am going to need them for my car before I sell them.

I did some running for parts this week. Picked up some bumpers that are better than what I have, but still perfect for a ratty Bee. Also picked up a Lakewood for it and a small block Lakewood when my dream of putting together a 4-speed 340 car comes true.

I finished up putting the steel wheels and dog dishes on it with Mickey Thompson tires. I don't like steel wheels because they are the small block Chevy of Mopar wheels. But they add to the overall look of the car. Or at least match it.

If the weather ever starts cooperating, I'll get to taking what I need off of it. All the rails are fair game.
