A real "free candy" van would have a sliding door.

I had a Ford cargo van for a few years. I miss it, and would buy a van again. It was very useful when there was no snow on the ground.

Here is a van that I had back few years ago.

Only problem was when I bought it the movie "Broke Back Mountain" had just come out and here was my new to me van with two cowboys sitting on horses on a ridge.

I use to get a lot of thumbs up when I drove it. At least from all the drunks and homeless people.

A van like ours can be appealing to homeless drunk people. It is a big upgrade from an appliance box. We got about three inches of rain the day before I bought it,and it dosen't leak at all.

I have a 2000 Ram 1500 conversion van that I removed the seats and tricked out for stealth camping, I've put about 60,000 on crisscrossing the US and Canada over the past few years. My first car was a 60 VW van, it was red and white with blue shag carpet, a red bed and American flag curtains..."a$$, grass, or gas...nobody rides for free" lol

Unfortunately my wife absolutely hates the van. I think it's cool and have always wanted to own one, but the wife is not having any of it. I said we could camp at the beach in it,and save the two grand we spend renting a beach house for a week, she said she would rather pay the two grand! I may have to cut it loose. She says she won't get in it,no matter how much candy I offered her! Lol I guess I did not figure in the stigma that a cool van has!

You need to find the bumper sticker that reads:

Usually whenever I drag home another basket case, she says that's nice(which means she will almost tolerate having it around)but this time she expressed her dislike repeatedly!

Maybe your wife had a bad experience concerning a van.

I've had a window van, and a Mini van, I won't be bringing home another van, I've had enough of them, thank you. Gene

I'd be lost without my van. Wouldn't be without one.

I'm thinking about putting it on the road this week. I have to go to the registry anyway. I just hope that the van is the only thing that has to register! Lol
