Hey folks, I am putting together a 65 Coronet and acquired an 18 spline transmission for the project. In consideration of the fact that people who are looking to mate a transmission to an original car, thought I would post the information here before I move forward.
It has an April 25,1968 dare code and was installed in a car built in the Lynch Road plant so probably a charger. VIN information is BA280403.

No Chargers at Lynch Road for '68.

It would be from a B-body though.

Can you get a photo of the pad stampings?

BA may be 8A, but a B would be a cool typo to see.

You can post in in the lost & found engine & transmission section here also;

https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbt...d.html#Post2844

That thread is 'stickied' so it will not drop out of the discussion area like this one will over time.

8A280403 would be a Plymouth b-body

if it has always been an 18-spline, HEMI Road Runner or HEMI/440 GTX
