Well I almost made it. Got near the Colorado river on I10 when the water pump on the RV took a leak. Managed to get back home with countless refills and no cap to keep pressure off the pump, thanks to a strong tail wind and cooler weather. Maybe next time. Dang. Bummer. Was looking forward to meeting you at the show.

My Dad is in Bakersfield and will be heading down there. Is there a meet-up and cruise from there tomorrow? I have an unreliable daily driver so I won't be coming up from San Diego.

Thanks for posting that - proof I was actually there!
We limped the car home, made it ok. That was a long day! Left San Jose at 5am, got home to Sac at 10pm...800 miles!
