That's not the paint I remember on the car, I thought it had a fade of a darker blue on the side.

What kind of rear suspension on that rig? Was it a ladder bar car, 4-link, or S/S springs, and is that all still in place? An under car shot or two would have been helpful.

I believe the current paint scheme is patterned after this early or original layout. Other pics show different wheels & slightly different paint.

I have a photo from 05 with the same color scheme as is currently on the car, but it has satin solid wheels like in the link Myron posted.

original paint with exception of the Judy on the door which had been buffed of one time, as raced by Judy in super stock with exception of cylinder heads. Original wheels as last raced by Judy. Tires have been replaced. In my opinion the best Vol-Asp in the country. How many original paint, factory backed cars exist

Her 68 is in a safe place. A friend of mine owns it. He quit racing it about 10 years ago.
