I'm wondering what my options are for the brake booster and master cylinder on my 75' D100 2wd. Also are their any disk upgrades? My master is old and leaking and the booster has a vacuum leak when I step on the brake that looks like its coming from the rubber piece that goes into the booster. Any details would be great.

If your swapping from drum to disc you will need the proper spindles, & proportioning valve.
Those would be the usual E-bag and the like. Post want adds on any forum that would be likely to have enthusiasts of these trucks.

I would think either rebuild kits or rebuilt parts as well as any other disc brake parts, would be available over the counter at your local parts store.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

check with your parts store--they will have a rebuilt or new master and if your booster cant be replaced they have a universal rebuild kit-----when my brothers traveco went down a booster couldnt be bought---a napa guy told the mechanic about the universal kit---the mechanic said he had never done one but it turned out to be real easy......

Should be able to get all the parts you need from a disc brake truck and of the shelf parts.

Ya guys, I'm looking for upgrades to the factory system. I have factory disks. What I'm wondering is if there are any upgrades since I need a new booster and master. Sounds like there are just factory replacements. On my Barracuda I upgraded to an aluminum master cylinder and Wilwood has upgraded disks etc. Sounds like none of that stuff is available for trucks.
