I was just wondering what the rarest MoPar wheel may be?

I know H-code wheels that are dated for the A12 crowd are desireable, but not all that rare.

Kelsey-Hayes magnesium alloy wheels for early 60's 300's/letter cars?

The infamous K/H "recall wheels"?

The one year only 71 Sport Fury GT wheel with "special" full trim ring? The wheel was unique and would only fit the full ring and cap.

Solid 15" H/D "tow-package" wheels?

Thoughts,....comments are appreciated! Thanks.

I would go with the wheel for the 71 sport fury gt . . . . way less of those than the 69 recall wheels . . . or the Hcodes . . . . and way less cars made too . . . course, there is the M body road wheel (looks like C Body road wheel), but is 7" wide ! And has plastic piece held in by the center cap, that gives color to where you would normally see the grey on the wheel between center cap and chrome. ..

The 1971 E-bodies had a cast aluminum 15" road wheel canceled very early on. Did any of the earliest cars have them installed?

I've always had many requests for the big H wheels dated prior to the build date of the '69 M-code cars, 1968 Hemi wheels, 450 15x7" wheels, & any of the pre-68 wheels that hold the large dog dish cap - both 14" & 15". I've never had a 450 wheel to sell, & cannot supply any of the others I listed anymore. The most in-demand of all among the years I have been selling wheels are the big H wheels.

I realize they are out there, several other models used them. Generally disc brake and large body or hd applications.
They are rare though, especially a set of 4 or 5 with correct codes.

The application is 68 Hemi car or 68 Station Wagon. Luckily my car (68 Charger R/T) had one original wheel on it. Through Moparts and eBay I was able to find 3 more. My brother has an extra one so I'll have all 5. Date codes will be a challenge as my car is early.

I guess you mean wheel or wheel cover. As far as wheel cover that first image of the wheel cover is IMO one of the cleanest, classiest, wheel covers ever on a mass produce car. That would be an awesome wheel on an exotic limited high end car with that look.

Another Moparts member has been looking for a "242" 14" plain black rim that was used as a trunk spare in 70.

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to find, but he has been looking for quite a long time and has yet to find one.

That must also be a rare rim as well...

Is that the same 14" steelie that would have been used on a '70 Challenger with full wheel covers? There was a guy in your area with my JH27N0B Challenger vert's sibling, about 10 VINs different, and when I last saw him he said he'd been looking with no luck for a set of those 14" wheels for his car for many years.

Good question.

Not sure if it was used when 14" wheel covers were ordered, or only used in the trunk. I've been told it was only a trunk spare, but would welcome others to comment as I'm not 100%.

I have a copy of his broadcast sheet, it says "17" under wheels/road, and "81" under spare. Wheel cover is "41".

I was thinking wheel, but including the cover is a good idea.

The 71 Sport Fury GT wheel is unique, and the wheel cover, actually it's a trim ring, only fits on that specific wheel; none other. With only 375 '71 GT's made and not all of them had these wheels and rings, I'm leaning on this one being the rarest.
