I have this 39 Dodge truck project I'm working on, and I think I would like to put the old school 15" chrome steel slots on it (like the rear wheel in this picture). I've been looking through the Summit wish book and a few other sources but have not found any. I suspect they are just not popular these days.
I have a pair that are a little rough, with rust pits near the joint of the wheel center and the rim. I would like to find a set of 2 or 4 that are in better shape then the ones I have that won't break the bank.
Do any of you guys know where a source for the chrome slots might be? Thanks, Gene

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Had a factory set that came on an 84 d150 marksman. I believe they were optional on trucks and vans up until 85. Best bet would be to keep checking junkyards or truck forums. They’re aren’t many around anymore. Wish I would’ve kept the ones I had on the marksman before it went to scrap.

Check Craigslist. I found a pair in the DFW area for $75.

That is kind of what I expected I was going to hear. I probably should mention that I need the 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern, and probably a 15" x 6", 7" or maybe up to an 8" wide wheel, backspacing isn't much of an issue. I really don't want the dual pattern wheels if I can avoid it. I'll look on Craig's list. Thanks guys. Gene

You knew that right?

I haven't looked too hard but I can't find them new.
Except for the ones linked above and they are crazy expensive for what they are.
Although, given the current economy I guess they are in line with other similar products.
