I used to have notes from a discussion I had with Harland Sharp about them and can't find them. But, I remember getting off the phone with them feeling they weren't too confident about them. But my opinion, I'm not a fan of the aluminum rocker body with the considerable amount of offset the rockers have from roller to pushrod. They are spring limited to what they can handle because of it. T & D's use a steel body. After running my T & D's this year, they've been flawless. Consistent lash. Plenty of oil to the springs, cups and rollers. They Can handle a double valve spring without issue.

Roller tipped rockers aren't really a necessity... lots of good discussion about them over on www.speedtalk.com .

I have a set of T&D's for my small block but I think I'm going to stick with my iron rockers for 2018... simple and effective. Maybe if I stick with that small block deal after next year I'll use the T&D's.

I'm not overly worried about the juice lifters on the Gen 3's, either. No experience with these new engines right now but my plan B for 2018 is building a simple 5.7 for a back-up and see how it works. I need to be at 650 HP or better and it will be on a dirt track deal.... we'll see.

Good to hear somebody else is going to use a Gen 3 in the dirt world. Plenty of power.
