I am looking at converting my 1969 Chrysler 300 to a stick.

Being Chrysler was who they were, anyone have an idea if any pedals out of a B or E body would bolt into a 1969 C body?

Would a Kiesler 5 speed pedal kit be a better choice?

Thanks for your time.

Robert

Here is an ebay link for brake and clutch pedal assembly for a 65-68
c-body. Might work. Anyone know for sure.

Chrysler produced some manual transmission Fuselage-bodied 4-speed cars, but they're really, really rare - so the conversion parts would also be really, really rare.

Your best bet may be to try the guys over at cbodydrydock.com . They're C-Body nuts and would know more specific info. Sounds like a fun project, I know I miss my '69 300 a LOT! It now resides somewhere in Finland... bawling

Good Luck! up

There were 65-68 four speed C body's made, but no factory Fussy four speeds- just factory three speeds on the column.

1965-68 pedals will not work.

If you locate a set of 69-71 pedals, it is 99.999999% sure the brake pedal will be manual. You will have to convert it to power if you have them. You can get a floor hump from Domingo here on Moparts.

If you take the time to hunt around, you can find the pedals. Be sure to get everything: pedals, z bar and rod from pedal to z bar. These are the critical items: all else are normal B/E stuff (or B/E stuff is close enough). The pedal dress up trim is hard to find.

GMP440 - Thanks for the link!

300by500 - Yeah, that looks awesome!! I can see why that would have been loved by a crazy Finn!

EWJ - Got it. Thank you. I will be sure to locate all those parts then.

FYI there have been a couple people on the drydock chronicle several year searches for these parts...and then give up. I once considered buying a $2000 70 Fury with the 3spd just for the set up. Then I regained sanity.

IMHO your better off going with the "Keisler", now SST (Silver Sport Transmissions) pedals, I wouldn't waste the time or money with a 833 4 spd, put a TKO 600 or T56 6 speed if your going to the trouble of outfitting a C body, you could go with SST's hydraulic throwout bearing, eliminating the linkage nightmare, and you could drill out the SST brake pedals to fit your linkage bellcrank for the power brakes I assume you have, I'd run a factory style B/C body floor console, I'd order the TKO/T56 with a 68-70 B body shift location so that I could use either the 69 B body 4 spd style handle, or if you like the 70 console pistol grip, SST has all the handles as well, you'd just have to source a console...if your car is bench seat, you could do the B body benchseat shifter 69 or 70 pistol grip style as well

When I ran dirt track hobby cars, we cobbled up a 69 C body with an 833, pedals, linkage, and all out of a late 60s/early 70s B body car.
It wasn't pretty, but served our purpose, on the dirt track. I'm not so sure I would have wanted to put it on the street.

Guess what I'm saying here is I would not recommend using any Mopar factory stuff to put a street driven C body together. Gene
