It's not about the seller, for me it's about the car. I'm not looking for a date

$8,000 car, $20,000 motor.
Can't see $43,500 for what's there.

I guess they get put together for free. Don't think it's worth $43,500 but not worth $28,000 either.

It needs the dana 60 to be right and a lot of other things. But not everyone needs that 100% show car either.

We all would like to get $$$ for the labor we put into every car we sold.

$43,500 plus $2,500 for a dana 60 and 18 spline puts it near the price range that a bottom rung original Hemi car can be bought for.

You can start to buy nice genuine 66/67 Hemi cars at around 50k
So why buy a clone for 43k$?

Agreed. I saw this car listed.
And although one may not be able to get a 1966 Hemi Satellite for this amount, but your definitely in real Hemi Belvedere money range.

But for some it all comes down to budget and what one is willing to accept for said budget.

What we have a budget? fan

It takes a lot to write a check for $50,000 for some people. Sometimes $5,000. grin

Plus the price to restore the bottom rung car.....

He could be just testing the waters price wise. You can always go down once you list your price. He just might get a serious buyer who has to have it for Christmas.

Not necessarily, Im seeing done 1966 Hemi Belvederes in the mid/upper 50s price range . 1966 Hemi Satellites in the mid 60s

I know for a fact of a local 1966 Hemi Satellite thats Black with red interior ( original color combo ) , console auto can be bought for about 60k. ( me personally can buy it for less than that ) This is a DONE and VERY well sorted , stout running Hemi car.
Drive it home ( if you can afford the fuel mileage or lack there of )

Thinking outloud...

Find and buy a 2K-3K running nothing special 440. Is that a realistic price? Maybe a 383 for cheaper?

Swap it for the Hemi

Sell Hemi complete. $20K ?

Sell very clean original-like 66 Satellite with 440 4spd. $20K in northeast ?

Thinking splitting this up might net more money. But have to eat the labor and do himself.
