I aquired a shakerhood from a 2015 RT. Its in plum crazy and I want to paint in Hemi Orange, would I be best to lightly sand the whole hood then sealer primer?

First wash the hood with Dawn dishwashing soap and warm water, wet sand with 360 or 400 grit, seal and paint your top coat.

I love the smell of Deer guts in the morning, it smells like... VICTORY!

If you weren't doing a color change you could clean, scuff with 400 and shoot, but in your case I would do the sealer primer then scuff with 400 again.

Wipe down the hood with lacquer thinner to remove wax/silicone/etc, then block sand 220,320, then finish off at 400, if your trying to match the paint of your existing car, follow the paint mfg recommendation for the proper value shade of primer/sealer, in primer I would finish block up to 600 grit before applying a BC/CC
