First post on this board I think. Usaully on Unlawfuls, I've recently obtained a 64 Sport Fury, going to be a street car. I have been removing trim, bumpers ect getting car ready for paint. Tried removing the trim in the drip rail area today, didn't have much luck, anybody know what is the best tool to use the get the trim clamps to release? Never had one with this much trim, much tougher than a Savoy. Got all the lower trim off pretty easy but not having much luck with the driprail area.

2x3x1/2" block of wood and a small hammer, get behind the top edge, start at the front and it will come right off with no damage, even with a can opener you can bend it.

Can opener wont work on the Sport Fury, its different, the trim pieces basically cover the whole drip rail. I'd think the Polara 500 would probably be about the same. Savoys and Belvedere's are much different and so far much easier.
