The build sheet has axle - 896, pinion - 35 and prop shaft - 45 in the build codes on the build sheet.

Can someone tell me what rear (8 3/4, Data, gear ratio and u joints) the car originally came with? Its a 67 Plymouth B Body.

896 = DANA60 w/3.54 gears & 11" brakes
35 = 2538935 orange 35 tooth speed-o gear
45 = ??

I see a "55" (#2781 955 3" dia. x 50-9/32" lg.)* # for DANA60 '67 Plymouth b-bodies but no "45" shruggy

* a changed part number from January '68 ('67 Parts Catalog)

I have a driveshaft with number 2852145 stenciled on. 3" diameter, 50" long with 1330 u-joints. I can't find the number in any reference or parts books.

That might be a hard one to get if you are looking for year correct. '66-'67 are different from the later Dana's.

Hello, I also have one. I have also searched for the part number in any publication with no success. Mine came from a 1967 Plymouth GTX 440, 4-speed with a Dana rear end. I never found the build sheet for the car.
