Yes, nice car. A 4 speed would push it over the top.

The 3-speed manual with 3.91 gear is one of the quickest stoplight cars I have ever driven! I actually like it better than a 4-speed. If you haven't driven that combination then you don't know what you are missing. This is one cool car, even with an automatic, is should sell in the mid 20's... twocents

I have driven MANY MANY cars with the old NON synchro first gear 3 speeds and I dont miss them at all... As a matter of fact I know many people that spent ALOT of money on, back in the day, to convert them to 4 speeds and were MUCH happier with the car......

drool Thats a cool Dart that I want to own, but timing couldn't be worse. Great car to leave as a driver, and also a really good starting point for a restoration. Just redo the hood blackout, replace the stripe, patch the small rust spots and drive the wheel soft of it. .

That's the trouble I guess. The small amount of rust would bother me and I think I would have to repair it. Then it wouldn't be original any more. I think I'd try to repair the rust and blow in some dull paint in those areas.

I had a good project car I bet you guys would have loved. Here's the tag:

N42 R11 V21 V8W Y05 End
V1W J45 M21 M43 N41
EK2 DX9 TX9 A24 041858
E55 D21 LM23H0R 155479

I owned it about 15 years ago, I bought it in Meridian Idaho from Kevin Petty. It was a numbers matching no rust car but needing a complete restoration. I sold it to a guy in Canada and haven't seen it since. Be a nice little car restored.

Wow very cool, if it didn't have that wee bit of rust through it would be perfect. I am liking it, even if it is an auto.

I like it exactly as it is. That's the look . As long as everything mechanically is sound , I would drive it, show it, enjoy it as is.
This is the next big trend in this hobby. Original paint , faded out ,
a little rough , but 100 % real and unrestored.
We used to buy cars that look like this and the first night it would be in the garage being disassembled for a total resto. But Now, THIS is what people are looking for . Their is a whole new breed of collectors
and muscle car enthusiasts who will simply address the mechanicals only, and then enjoy the heck out of this car
(and save 30k) It would be a great car for the no shine sh!& list drag races
that are held here in North Alabama , that's for sure .

iagree totally with the above sentiment...very cool car, someone got a nice ride! My '73 Charger is a little like this Swinger, but a little more rough arond the edges.
