My buddy wants to sell his 70 Charger RT/SE factory AC car. Automatic on the column. It is a project car all in pieces but I believe its all there. Numbers matching rebuilt 440 (aftermarket valve covers). It is a SC car.

The quarters are shot. The floor and frame are solid.

What is a fair price for a car like this in today's market?

He does have 2 interested parties but no price has been discussed.

He has then but I don't have pics of that. I would need to ask for the details - do believe he said that was not the original color.

Yes - power windows.

He says originally burnt orange with tan leather interior - he says this is what he translated from the fender tag.

Love chargers, but dont have interest in 70 models, or bronze/brown cars. Auto doesnt help. Those that want one would probably pay 12k or better in the current ridiculous charger market.

You don't know what you are missing,The 70 Chargers had the best options of the second generation Chargers. I like my pistol grip console shifter, high impact colors, painted racing mirrors,15 inch rallye wheels,go wing, hood pins, highback bucket seats,R/T door scoops.and my 440 Six Pack just saying!

What ever you pay for a car in this condition, you need to deduct several thousand dollars to replace all the parts, bolts, and etc. that are missing. Been there. I see 12 to 15 at the most. Unless you are deep in parts cars like me, then you will be missing plenty of odds or valuable parts.

I have had over thirty 70 Charger project cars during the last 33 years, and other than the empty bank account, none of the other things that you listed have happened.

I wouldn't be scared of that project. It needs to be saved. I am sure it will sell for way more that I can pay for it anyway.
