I'm going to pull instrument cluster to repair speedometer needle and while I'm at it I would like to convert the clock. Did a Google for a movement kit and didn't find much. Has anyone done it a what did you do?

Sent mine out to a place in 1992 or so. You might just want to have yours repaired. I hear sometimes tthere are points inside that just need cleaned.

I did that 20 years ago and lasted about 3 weeks, I'm ready to convert to a new movement and want to do it myself. Wondering if anyone has a kit.

Try this one: on the right hand side you can order from their website or ebay site. Pretty sure the part number is R3035

https://www.clocksandgauges.com/quartz-conversion-kit.html

or this place

I used a DIY quartz clock kit for my Challenger rallye clock from Real Time Engineering that I bought at Carlisle about maybe 15 years ago. I just looked at their website http://rt-eng.com/rte/index.php/Main_Page
however and it appears they sell tach kits but no longer sell clock kits. Too bad because it worked well for me as the clock still keeps good time. I read something on their website that sounded like they may have sold off that portion of the business.

Have you tried Jim at JS Restorations?, I don't know if he offers clock service kits or repair, but might be a worth while request
