Another very weak show of Street Outlaws. Man the cars from Canada were pathetic. 😂.

chuck spotted that mustang two cars, and passed him before the guy went 10 feet.
I don’t know 2hy you would bring a bunch of small tire cars, to race the OKC guys on the street.

Everybody wants there 30 seconds of fame, even at the cost of looking like a big loser. I can go watch test n tune street cars in the Pittsburgh area run high 7’s low 8’s with some over 190 mph in the 1/4 that would put these guys to shame.

Why is Lutz now getting the call outs and setting up the out of town races? The last two out of town races Lutz evidently set up.

Since it’s hotter n L here I had some dvr time. I’d never seen the old show where they talked about how Discovery approached them about starting the show. Pretty cool episode and I sure do miss the caliber of cars they ran back in the day.

Just curious... in a 5-5 split, who do you consider contenders and just filler?

Don’t think for a second that those cars are an accurate example of what we have up here, there are plenty of serious cars here. Most of those on the show are driven on the street every weekend.

They were called and given one chance to come down to race on the show. Short notice, yes or no so they brought what they could get together on very short notice. Its pretty typical, the show would not be a success if they loose, its just a TV show

Hopefully they can make it to 1 of the no prep races and have a better showing of what their cars are capable of

71 demon stock stroke 440/indy ez-1 running 10.10 @ 132.14 mph in the 1/4 and 6.36 @ 107.46 mph in the 1/8 not in the same weekend but It did it then I sold it.

I don’t even watch it anymore.

I’ll try to give the no prep show some viewing, but the regular SO show isn’t wasting space on the dvr anymore.

A lot of people have really big egos about how fast their car is... I have no doubt a lot of the out of towners think they have a real chance at winning. Maybe when the show first started, but there's probably only a handful of cars that could beat them now.

I'd love to see them lose one of their races like this, but it's not going to happen, made for tv or not.

Coming attractions for next week, I heard Chuck wants to punch someone else now. This weeks episode was weak.

THIS IS HOLLYWOOD AND THIS IS DRAMA. The Hollywood and drama junkies are the main portion of the viewership. This format is GETTING OLD! Time for something new. Plenty of street racing on utube. Clean it up. Sign the waivers and some professionalism in producing the show and then you have a show. Towns are promoting street racing.Looks like there is more opportunities out there for real street outlaws. Velocity, MAV TV????

Your stories of the recent Vegas event were laughable to say the least.... it could be such a good format if they dared to go there.

Rumor has it they are here in Los Angeles. They supposedly tested yesterday and will race this evening. I had an invite to go but I like my car more than to risk it for 15 minutes of air time. Jay Boddie got some cars together to mount some kind of challenge but they will likely be outmatched.

Bob yes they are in LA, a couple cars from the local area but most are from NorCal. Some decent fast stuff for sure but it is TV smile The biggest "issue" with the out of town races is they pick the spot, they test for a couple of days at the spot and don't allow the locals the same courtesy. So when race day comes they are far better prepared to get down that particular road than the "locals" are. Its TV they "need" a particular outcome.
