Obviously wasn't 2 weeks in a row in real life The same thing happened with old heavy... it was wrecked twice. After all the problems they had, I thought it was good to see him win some $ to help pay off what he lost. I don't know about him being a millionaire... guess anything is possible. They do draw some interesting crowds. Another fight, seems like it happens every race for them.

When I looked him up, says he owns a car lot and that's how he makes his $. Also spent 8 years in federal prison, but not specified why. He has 11 kids also and 6 grand children. I didn't think he was that old.

I'm assuming its with different mothers... but the 5 grand kids part is more the age thing. I know some people start young and all.

A few too many "kumbaya" moments for me last night.

I can't believe nobody raised hell when the Memphis folks were leaving as JJ raised his arms. The flashlight method is better, easier to call, and cuts through the BS.

Seems Richard Rawlings has had to cast his net pretty wide since Aaron left. I'm interested in seeing Aaron's new show.
I still prefer SO to the other variations, except No Prep Kings, for many reasons, not the least of which are the wisecracks, ribbing, and some of the escapades; they remind me often of the guys I bracket-raced with in NorCal.

That's why they do 'Chase is a race'. JJ has been very clear that Memphis is all about the hustle. It bit Precious in the first round.

I have read also that they push for the water burnout also so no glue but their tires have all been treated/soaked for weeks prior to each race. Hence why most of their cars get down & every other car goes up in smoke just about every pass.

I get it. It is street racing. Some of my old cars had all kinds of tricks done to them also.

Even starting on a flashlight in the 80's, chase was a race out here in California.

Of course that was WAY before cellphone video, etc.

It was EASY to school people back then with cutting a light.

This has turned into garbage tv. Rawlings he’s something else. What happened to chief. Whatching Chuck run the show joke. Reaper he’s involved. Ryan’s the only one that’s interesting. I’m only waiting for Arron’s show.

Gas Monkey got too big for their own good and Rawlings ego only grew with it. I was wondering what happened to the challenger, that's the only thing that has to do with them I want to see.

Finally No Prep Kings. Now that was worth watching.

The Beech Bend episode should air next week, I was at that one. Great event. Tons of people though.

It wasn't the whole race yet anyways... wish they would just air the entire race all at once.

They just had a Street Outlaws No Prep Kings event this past weekend at Orangeburg dragstrip (SC Motorplex). Nice track, but a pretty small venue. People parking on the side of the little 2 lane road for miles just to be turned away at the gate at 1 PM Saturday. They said ticket holders would be let in, but there are people who had tickets that got turned away at the gate.
Don't understand why they'd have an event that large at such a small track.

Next weekend they were supposed to be at Piedmont Dragway in NC, but supposedly cancelled due to weather??? Now they're saying they've moved it to Galot Motorsports Park in Benson, NC, b/c it's a larger venue.
