That truck is a tube chassis with an all fiberglass body. It probably weighs under 3000 lbs. They like the water only burnouts but fail to tell everyone else that their tires are pre-soaked in VHT prior to racing. LOL.

I like the Memphis show better than the OKC or NOLA shows. I always hated the whole concept of "The List". No real street racer wants to be on a list to let everyone know how fast their cars are.

Wow, that dont look like no 4000 pound plus truck to me outwardly. And thats a polite observation.

I know one thing I like how they start their races better. The way Chief runs back and swings around could lead to windshield pillar issues. They kinda talk like they have marbles in their mouth but give me a week or two and I will understand that better too. More girls racing will probably bring more female viewers into the mix and different advertisers.

Memphis must not have a jump start rule. Watching JJ throw his arms around made me think the flash light start is a lot better. Actually , the light used in the New Orleans show I think is the best. We used to use the arm drop back in the 60-70's but we weren't racing for thousands of dollars either , just who we could beat. I don't think anyone did burnouts either or even heard of doing one . LOL

What happened with Quinn?
JJ said he was going to be driving "Ole Ugly" then it showed him in the purple Chevy 2, but I saw a flash of "ole ugly" earlier in the show

They don't have a jump start rule... chase is a race, they must have said it 10 times during the show.

The way I understand it, there is a jump start rule.
But...... "Chase is a race".

If you knew they jumped and didn't "chase"...... You'd win.

If you chase, you're accepting their jumped start.

My car don't have break lights. 😜

She puts a whole car on me before my car moves.

I'll race you for a thousand anytime you want.

I noticed that they were always moving as soon as JJ so much as wiggled his fingers. If you're not used to that it's pretty hard to tree someone. hop

Me thinks JJ moves his arms after one his car racing is moving a tiny bit, hence he is the chief #1 hustler whistling work shruggy

I noticed there were 2 stripes painted on the road at the starting line , the cars were only pulled to the first for the start. What is the second strip for?

It is very hard not to chase. I know that I was never able to just sit there and watch someone drive away. Found it much easier to jump and be followed.

If he thinks the other car can out run him, he'll leave early ALL the time.
