I have one with pred heads that made 1200 on a single 4. I've since added a tunnel ram, and the car picked up mph, so I know it's making some undetermined amount more than that now. The car is 3400 pounds and runs high 5.20's to low 30's based on 60' which is rarely the same. sometimes it's 1.169, and other times it's 1.22 or slower on bad hits.

I've seen no signs of stress problems at this power, but blower torque may be a different story.

I would stay way clear of their aluminum block with a blower. Running over the crank doesn't sound like any fun at all lol.

My World block has lasted several rebuilds of 1100 +. Al has a build that made really good power, I think over 1200. That's why I'm looking for another option. Mopar left me hanging. There aren't any options right now and hasn't been for quite a while unless you want to be their R&D division and your expense.

Iron block + blower = safe. Same power from NA or nitrous would be worse stress.

What brand 14-71? What does the discharge window and manifold look like?

Littlefield standard, prepped for gas. full open on the bottom IIRC. Manifold will be a Stage V piece. I have 2 - Quickfuel 1050 blower domi's, CP blower pistons, crank will be a Bryant billet center counter weighted piece.

I know full rotor exposure doesn't seem critical for race, but (as in all helixed rotors) all the air is in the triangle formed by the rotor's relative positions just behind the drive nose. Air behind that point is just pulled back into the case and re-heated.
It looks to me that masking the case would be easy (Eaton just closes it up, no special shape) but it may mean moving the case to the rear of the manifold - which will move your pulley out of line. Some pictures may exist of a masked case on a manifold to hint at a good distribution spot (although some OEM Eaton manifolds are just open boxes).

Anyone read anything on this?
