I haven't seen any results of Eagle heads on a stock stroke 6.1.
I was hopeing some of the G3Hemi Masters here might have some insight .

I have a stock 6.1 in a Valiant , It has the Mahle drop-in forged pistons in it , unfortunately these drop the comp to around 10.0 ,combine that with a cam that I will eventually install , I think I'll be looseing alot of torque.

I have been Paying attention to some of the builds on here , and thats where the eagles come in , they should bring the comp up to 11.0 .
So a little home porting and maybe some 1.6 exhuast valves What sort of HP increase ????. worth it or just stay with my 6.1 heads.

Id like to know this too.

What would be the best choice for a 6.1 bottom end out of 6.1, 5.7 eagle or 6.4 heads? Anyone with some experience in this?

TIA

Well
I think your comparable on flow enough that it won't achieve
Much gain there if any
Compression bump should pick you up about 3-4 percent

I think your better off purchasing the right camshaft for the
6.1 combo using the 6.1 head

I have a camshaft I designed years ago that's been know to
Run rather well. And to be honest it's not that much as far as duration

So maybe around 15 HP for the compresssion increase ,
I see your point considering i don't have the eagles .

Your cams are you able to do something with a little more lift to take advantage of the valve reliefs.

From memory , i didn't measure , the valve reliefs looked around .080" deep . Most of the cams i see that are intended for stock 6.1's have around .560 valve lift , I was thinking something around .600" .

I've got one even better. lol Called the MACH 3. 219/229 112 LSA 108 ICL fastest ramp rates the stock lifter will reliably handle. Not stepping on toes I hope just throwing it out there :-)

Now I'm spoilt for choice. What is the stock rocker ratio 1.6 , 1.65 , or somewhere inbetween.
