I have an 06 5.7, and I need to know if there are head studs available for the top row of bolts. This is the row under the intake. Additionally, I need them to be a little taller so that I can use a second nut to fasten brackets to. I don't want to change over to all studs, I just want to change the top row on an assembled motor. Can someone tell me who makes these and is there a specific part that I need to ask for? Thanks.

You should be able to buy them individually from ARP. You'll prob need them a little longer than the ones that come in their head stud kit. I don't think there's enough threads left to attach too. They only torque to
25lbft so you could prob source your own high quality stud and nut setup.

I tried to talk with Indy since we have some of their parts, but they were zero help, actually worse. I have found that they are M8 1.25 and the studs in the kit are going to be too short for what we need. Going to call ARP when they open and see if there is another app that we can utilize. I did notice the low torque.

The studs came in from ARP. I have never used head studs before. These are just the "10" that go under the intake ports. Do I run the studs in with Blue Loctite? Nuts and washers dry or oiled?
