BobR OP master B Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 8,165 Left Coast	Two years ago I set forth on a quest to have one of the quickest and fastest true backhalf Outlaw 10.5 cars in the world. We run a BAE 521" Hemi for power. At SCSN this past weekend we attained 2 of our goals. One was to go 200 MPH(204.96 best) and the second to run under 4.00(3.973). We also won in one class(No time Big Tire) and R/u'p in Outlaw 10.5. We need a few more hundredths to be the quickest but I believe we are now the fastest.

It was a rather long journey with a bunch of expensive missteps but I think we now have something to work with. I was always fortunate enough to have the best driver(Giuseppe Gentile) and the best crew chief(Jason Pettis) so I knew we'd eventually get it right.

The track was getting cold and I wimped out on the tuneup. We definitely had more to throw at it but we took our best(conservative) shot and came up a couple of hundredths short.
