My father died of medical issues in his 50's and I find myself "clearing the decks" as my 52th birthday rears its ugly head in the next few months. With the serious physical aliments that have been cropping up starting to feel like time is running short.

Sorry to hear about your friend, remember the good times together and make the most of life. When young it seemed endless..

This classic Mopar crowd is a "seasoned" one. I will be 52 in 9 days. I understand what it feels like to be reminded of mortality. You are not alone in feeling out of sorts, many of us have lost people due to illness, accidents or even suicide.
I had a hard time when approaching 50. Neither of my brothers made it there. It screws with you, man. For every story of a man reaching 100, I'd hear of more guys punching the clock before 50.
A few things have started to occur to me:
*Has anyone ever been on their death bed wishing that they had worked MORE ?
* Has anyone ever wished that they spent LESS time with family?
*Has anyone ever regretted more things than they loved doing?

I'm 58, and getting very close to the age where everyone on my father's side started having strokes. My mother died of cancer at 63. My boss recently dropped dead at 64.

It really makes one stop and think about things that never crossed their mind at age 30.

I'm very sorry for your loss. The key was a nice touch.

Very cool of you to do that for your friend, 52 is much too young. angel I will turn 60 (hopefully) next April, and in the last year more maladys have affected me than in the previous 58. rant

Micah was the proud owner of project Black and Blue that I built for him that has graced the pages here previously. The car is black n blue, his wallet was black and blue and i was black and blue from working on it.

A 1970 Charger R/T set up to drive like normal car but capable of running hot laps on Watkins Glen and outrunning many cars including most of the old mopars cars you all are driving and new challengers etc. This is one of the nicest driving well handling mopars with factory type cruise control ever.

God speed Micah...here he is running solo at the Glen in 2012

See the chally bringing up the rear

Sogtx Andy - thanks for starting the thread

Didn't realize we lost Micah.

Hopefully he's running the SRT-10 transplant up in the sky.

Great guy paid for parts disappeared for a year and then showed back up to pick them up.

God speed!

Good touch, rip. What other choice do we have, let out a rebel yell, pedal to the metal, no gas gauge and no finish line. Take it as far as we can go.

Going to be 58 in one month from today.
I still try to act like a kid when ever possible.
Aches and pains?
What the heck can ya do?
Can't see 4 Schmidt anymore.
Gotta keep on Truckin'
We only have a short time here.
Looks like Micah made the best of it.
May God Bless him with a Bad-A$$ '70 Charger through-out eternity...
I like the key too.

Nice Touch!

I'm so sorry to read of Micah's passing, I had no idea he was so ill. Too young.

We've lost many Mopar brothers in this region recently.

The key is a great touch, Andy.

My condolences to all.
