No, the 225 was used in the truck back then. The 198 didn't come around till 1970...still not sure why that was even introduced.

The 198 replaced the 170 in 1970 because the A bodies were getting heavier.

But the 225 was already in service....why not just end the 170 and go to the 225?
There must be a reason.
