Fender tag appears to be from a Cuda

BS23K2B

A GY9 car with a black vinyl top.

Otherwise cool, need more pics.

Yep, that tags from a '72 340 'Cuda .
16k is way out of line for an N code bee
with wrong cid engine, needing full resto .
I'd say 8k would be more in line.

Ok show me a rust free Superbee that has sold for 8K (and not from 1994)

OK, show me a non numbers matching, barely running , 383 Super bee needing full resto that sold for 16k .
Engine is a 1973,and the wrong CID so that adds nothing to the value.
So we are looking at a column shift auto , very solid body , originaly
green by the sellers description (we assume FF4 or EF8 ).
Needs total resto . I'm sticking with 8k .

It would be a different story if we were dealing with something like an EB3 4-speed car with fender tag and virtually no rust and the numbers matching engine sitting beside it on the garage floor THEN we would be talking around 16k . However ,The reality is we have a non impact green column shift auto and probably no fender tag .

I like the car but no way would I pay $16K for it. Not even sure I'd pay $8K for it. I just bought a 2014 Nissan daily driver with 22K miles on it for $8K....

Here in the snow and rust that car wouldn't last 2 days at 8K

Nothing to offer but some rust free sheet metal. With all that’s lacking you can really make it whatever you desire. I’d say the value is around 8-10k.

This one wasn't rust free or running etc BUT not too bad and it was cheap....

No bites at 27.9K on a completed car,

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Dodge-Coronet-Super-Bee-383ci-Fully-Restored-/162714174336

Maybe you are not too far off the mark in your estimate. My my point was that you just don't see many rust free straight original metal cars, so they don't sell cheap when you find one. I think 12.5 is a better number on the car originally posted here
