So everything I keep reading says 2010 and back are different limited slips but can not find out what the difference is. I just want to throw a cheap limited slip in my trucks rear diff but I can't find why I cant put the older one in and the newer ones are expensive. Is there a cheap one that I have not been able to find? I don't even mind useing good used stuff but I do not want a locker.

I might have one new and might have one that needs clutches. Yours is a 2011 right?

Funny thing about this truck is with the traction control on it starts going up my snow covered driveway and chugs and shakes clangs and shutters all kinds of crazy and gets stuck, I turn off the traction control and it will get on out of there with no fuss and muss.

That's what happens when brakes are applied to the spinning wheel.
