Looking for photos showing placement of the axle ratio & sure grip lube tags on a 1970 B body Dana 60? Also, were these tags installed prior to paint and painted with complete rear end? Thanks in advance! Joe

Suregrip tag is to right, ratio to left of lower pair of bolts pointing up. On before paint. So lowest bolt nothing, next 2 up have tags. Part # tape tag is on left just inside the u-bolt toward center.

The first picture below is from a survivor 70 Hemi Cuda showing that both tags are pointing up. I've seen several unrestored Dana's from the 70 and 71 model year, and they are all in the same position.

The 2nd pic is from a VERY low mileage 70 Superbird. Most don't know this, but Dana's were painted upside down on the assembly line as evidenced by the direction of the paint drip on the cover. I've seen 3 different survivor cars with similar paint runs. Typically, the top of the Dana center section has lighter paint coverage than the bottom.

The 3rd pic is from the same Superbird and shows the placement of the tag.
