I am going to change from a carb to Ron's injection. Is the intake manifold style as important as with a carb? I have a Victor W2 and a Holley Strip Dominator. Planned on using the Victor W2. But was wondering if it really mattered. Thanks Jim

Not sure which intake would be best, try them both so you know. Sell them both and get an Indy. You will like the injection, ran a toilet on alky for yrs on sb’s.

I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. Not worth it IMO.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

The injectors spray on the back of the intake valves, so the manifold mainly carries air. The few I did the main thing is the manifold have bosses cast in them for nitrous lines, as those bosses work perfect for the alky nozzles when you drill and tap them. I just did a small block chevy and used E85, it ran really great.

Call Killer Rons Best tech and help available
You will LOVE that setup
Buy fresh clean sealed drums of alky not bulk to save a few $
Clean fuel, clean funnels, clean clean clean--use air hose to blow off drum top before opening etc Be clean and it will pay off
Killer Rons is simply the winners place to go
I don't think intake matters much--just get nozzles aimed right
Remember CFM with FI is dry air --way different than carb etc so ...
Throttle response is like turning on a light switch--you will love it

I would say AMEN to this, I ran Ron's Flying Toilet for years bracket racing, deadly consistent, trouble free. In addition, spend the bucks for the Primer Plus system, saves a ton on alcohol consumption, uses a small electric pump and separate container for gas during warm up, I used to drive my to the lanes on gas, switch to alcohol for the burn out and pass, switch back to gas for the drive back to the trailer, easy peasy, best money I ever spent, talk to James Monroe, awesome dude and great to work with up

I strongly suggest a filter between tank and pump (no brainer there) but more importantly a filter right before the metering valve. I had a lot of problems when making up new braided lines. Try as I might, I could never get them perfectly clean. I had Clogged nozzles and a. Bypass. Or idle valve hung up once or twice.
Bite the bullet now and buy a Primer. Plus to go with it. A big side benefit besides fast warm up and fuel savings is no corousion in the cylinders, a problem with alky. It is tough to totally clear out the cylinders between races.
