Weiman floor polish.
Have to be at an old style hardware store. You wet a rag and then rub it in. Lasts for ever.
Can't use just everyday polish, it will whiten if caught in the rain until it hardens again. Has to be a professional grade.
Wear gloves, hard to get off your hands

As title states, what is the product of choice for a Black Vinyl Top? Years back there was stuff that looked like shoe polish that worked great and I'm thinking of trying Black shoe polish in paste form. Don't want anything greasy that will ruin my car cover either. Thanks Ron That shoe polish type stuff you are referring to was made by Turtle Wax. I used it on my black vinyl top cars back in the early 70's. It came in white or black depending on your car's top color. Great stuff, I loved it. Wish they still made it, but I have not seen it now in years.

What kind of finish did it leave on the top Ron? Good timing for this as I was looking for something too.
Dave I'd say more shine then I thought but not like Armor All. Very happy with what I see so far Ron

I have used Armor All and 303, both left a bit too much shine. But I changed my technique. I use the vinyl product of choice on the top and then I wash the car. The car wash soap and water removes a bit of the shine. Afterward it leaves a nice appearance.

Years ago I bought some POR-GLO from the same company as POR15. No idea what's in it, but it leaves the perfect semi gloss shine that dries fully and does not attract dust. It smells like mineral spirits when you apply and looks way too glossy, but when that flashes off it looks perfect. I only have to put it on every few years. Not sure if you can buy any longer. Edit: I did find on one site. http://www.allcarparts.us/catalogb.php?A=1&B=1&S=11&C=9Almost tempted to buy a spare can. Goes a long way.

I have the original vinyl top on my red Charger. In the 27 years I have owned it I have applied Armour All, 303, Meguire's or whatever other vinyl cleaner I had in the supplies cabinet in the garage & it still looks great. I don't know what is right or wrong they all work.
