Ok, I installed the cam and used the .050 method on the intake. the cam card says it should be 2 before and i get 6 before. it says 38 after and i'm closing at 30. I used the lobe center method and it reads 108 which is what the card says. run it? thanks.

Think i'd be checking with the cam company , those #s don't add up . you used a solid lifter right?

used a solid lifter and checked it over and over. I dont think im making a mistake but its possible. I made sure the wheel was zero and rotated until i saw .050 at the lift side of intake and read the wheel then .050 at the bottom.
then i checked it .020 before max lift and .020 after and added those 2 and divided by 2 to get 108.

you took a degree wheel reading @.050" before max lift & another one @.050 after max lift, added the two together, divided them by 2 & got 108. You're perfect.
