Can anyone verify if the Holley Dual Sync distributor will clear Indy EZ Heads?

Thanks,
Darren

Yes it will clear on an RB block. On my engine it ran into the intake manifold so I had to trim the end off of the intake flange.

Do you need a dual sync distributor? I have a brand new one for an RB engine here that I'm not going to use. I decided to go with a cam sync setup and CNP rather than use the distributor.

Have the Indy heads been machined for distributor clearance or not? Older heads were not.

No I don't believe so. The late Nick Wilson prepped these for me back in 2010. Right now I have a Firecore distributor and it fits fine.

The one I have is part number 565-103 that fits the RB block. Should be plug and play with Holley EFI systems.
