I`m trying to clear out some stuff. I have this starter shield I`m trying to ID. Anyone know what is fits? I think it came off a small block 4 speed car but not for sure. I don`t see any numbers on it.

I think they were on many auto cars-trucks. I have a beat up one in stock, and have seen many mopars w/out that piece.

So I guess maybe late 60`s early 70`s big and small block? Or is it big block only. Auto trans had the starter surround as part of the t/c dust shield so I`m assuming a 4 speed car correct? I`m confused as you can tell.

Agree, exception is the direct drive starters.
