Isn't the brake booster and master cylinder painted black as an assembly?

The information I have is from the ICCA Judging Manual for 68 & 69 B-body, if that is something you find trustworthy.

B41 & B51 option

"The master cylinder is a dual reservoir design manufactured by Bendix. The master cylinder is painted semi gloss black."

"All cars equipped with power brakes, option B51, have a power brake booster. The power brake booster is painted semi-gloss black in 68-70 and yellow zinc dichromate plated for 1971-1974."

Is drum brakes an exception that is not referenced here? I may have missed something.

The drum master is a single diaphram and is made by Midland Ross. It’s cad plated.

Holgar I would think it would look like my old 70 GTX that had power drum brakes.

Ron, That is the set up. I just needed to see who to use to get it refinished. Oddly enough out of all the cars I have had my hands this is the first power drum car. So never needed to get a booster replated. Booster Dewey looks to get the call. Thanks all.

Yep I also have used him for years, the only way to go IMHO.
He did the booster pictured.

Just as an FYI, If there are any pits the booster . Replating it will make them stand out big time. Keep that in mind.
