FelPro is fine for that. You could buy Cometic I guess...

Not sure what "not cork made" means.

Don't think anyone makes a cork head gasket

Unless you are confusing valve cover gasket, which can be had in cork, with a head gasket?

God, that brings back memories from behind the parts counter. Sold a guy a pair of head gaskets. Couple of days later he calls in saying he can't figure out how they fit... he has been trying for two days and can't make them work. Tell him to bring the head in and we'll see what the problem is. An hour later I see him walking in and I can barely keep from laughing. He is carrying a valve cover and has the head gaskets all mashed and greased up from trying to get then to fit inside the valve covers. Took the head gaskets back and handed him a new pair of valve cover gaskets, no charge. Turned the head gaskets in for warranty. All the parts guys had a good laugh that day. wrench

Man! I was really trying to give a short, respectful response and not go there. There are new guys you know. Teach 'em right and they are an asset to the later community and prob. find out you may have more in COMMON than you think! up
Honestly I did find it funny but I just didn't have to go there. Carry on...

If it is valve cover gaskets, fel pro blue cork/ rubber have been the best for me. The red silicone and black rubber gaskets will not take the heat from the exhaust manifolds sitting one inch away.

Head gaskets I still use steel shim, I think I have one set of the old McCord / Mopar Performance gaskets left...factory iron heads, not aluminum.

Wasn't trying to be an ass, but I can't answer a question if I don't know what it is.

I like these

Check with Superformance for valve cover gaskets. They've got good gasket options now. Mancini stocks alot of their stuff I believe.

I like the cork,I have good luck with them. Glue them to the cover with a thin film of sealer. VERY lighty bolt to the head just so the gasket seats against the cover. Let it dry then install for real dry on the head side. Have removed the covers many times never leaks. Just don't over tighten them.
