My 3.0 eats these like candy, must have ten bad ones at least. Trying to back track these things to find a problem-s. Could an expert walk me through their process, or how they work and what they accomplish. Might add the engine doesn't like acceleration (like a light switch turning off and on, dead miss) but runs normal any other time. Turning the AC on agrevates it also.
Sixth set of injectors, many dist caps-wires-plugs, everything, even engine-trans-gas tank-fuel pump-computers has been changed all but the wiring harness itself. I don't know where to go next, thought of setting it on fire and pushing over the cliff but I like the ride so well.
Help!

Even the Mitsu 3.0 should not need all those parts in it's lifetime, I don't know how anyway. Your Caravan must be possessed.

Lots of replaced parts. Is it fouling out plugs, gas mileage down, etc? I had a failed fuel pressure regulator on the rail that was sucking gas through the vacuum line.

What year? Check TSBs. Early ones had an issue with the MAP hose collecting water(moisture) causing problems. The fix was relocating the MAP. MAP sensors sense engine vacuum/engine load (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Anything that effects vacuum will freak MAP sensors out and possibly set codes.

A decent description of the year/make/model along with accurate code number/description along with any drive ability issues will help us help you.

My 3.0 eats these like candy isn't the most accurate problem description I've ever had(doubtful you've had 10 bad ones) and I've turned wrenches for over 30 yrs.

Plugs are white, First engine, bearings went. Mpg still 19, picked up to 22 on trip after trans change, now back to 19. It's a 99 3.0, regulator, where is it? I haven't found one yet.

I'll lay them out and take a pic tomorrow.
It's a 1999 3.0. 180,000 miles on chassis, no wrecks, no floods.
I'm leaning toward electrical issues or bad grounds, left turn signal stopped working tonite, pass window won't work, driver side intermittent and dome light at the windshield doesn't come on when the door opens, the back ones do.
