if the car has 14x6.0" wheels (body color or black), it will have the same in the trunk
if the car has 14x5.5" "ROAD" or "RALLYE" wheels, it will have a black steel 14x5.5" wheel in the trunk
if the car is 440+6 or HEMI and has 14x6.0" "ROAD" wheels, it will have a black steel 14x6.0" wheel in the trunk
if the car has 15x7.0" wheels (body color or black), it will have the same in the trunk
if the car has 15x7.0" "RALLYE" wheels, it will have a black steel 15x7.0" wheel in the trunk
the Goodyear POLYGLAS tires on the car will match the tire in the trunk
On this subject when it has a 15x 7 and G 60-15 what is the tire holddown stud length??? Or p/n? Thanks Ron

Thanks Ron I'm going to guess that the stud will be the same on any of the combinations since the backspacing will be anywhere from 3-7/8" to 4-1/4" on the wheels, & the studs are long enough to handle any of these rim backspacings.

I ground the "dog ear" then masked and painted the grind area with silver cad paint. Looks fine to me.

I just had someone measure the rod for me. This is a 71 Charger with 15x7 G 60-15 spare and the rod is 10". I believe the one in my car is 10" but thought I was told years back G 60-15 spares got a longer rod. My fitment problem has to be because I have a Rallye wheel in there until I can find a "450" I can afford.
Thanks for the help Ron

1970 & '71s 15x7.0" plain steel wheel #2944 450
OE on many performance B & E-bodies (STANDARD on HEMI E-bodies & T/As) roughly $500-$1,000 each Any early wheel built in August or early September 1969 will not have the part number on it. Also if the car had body color wheels I thought the spare was still black. Is this not true?
