OK - I finally got the video to load of the test session on the Demon last week.

All launches: Air:8.0, Rear shocks 4/4

1st launch
front shocks - full stiff, launch rpm 4600, 60' = 1.373 ---- short shifted the run 1-2 @ 5800, 2-3 @ 6400

2nd launch
front shocks - 3 from stiff, launch rpm 5000, 60' = 1.349 ---- short shifted the run 1-2 @ 6000, 2-3 @ 7100

3rd launch
front shocks - 5 from stiff, launch rpm 5400, 60' = 1.311 ---- short shifted 1-2 @ 6800, 2-3 @ 7100

Yes - I see what the front wheel is doing when it lifts in the air. I'll get that sorted out.

Bill, you loaded the front shocks more for the second and third runs, didn't you? You were bouncing around in the first run.

Observation, your not consistent in the burnout. Smoke has to fan out across the tire, you had one where you only got the center hot. For bracket racing, the key is to do the same thing exactly the same way everytime. Once you get in the habit, you will find it tough to change, and it will just be natural. Get one of your spotters to check tire temp as you stage, you will have the data to show as well.

2nd shock setting seemed the best from the vid, it carried the fronts the farthest, and kept the rear squatted the longest distance by the looks of it.

What is your best 60'?
I believe more starting line RPM to hit the tires harder will improve the 60' number significantly.
But, it looks and sounds great, your Demon is one of my favorite cars.

Those videos make me want to get to the track. It was only 40 degrees today. Hopefully next weekend when the local track opens it will be warm enough to go (and not raining, etc).
