I'm converting my 71 cuda 340 from manual to power steering. car is 340 4-speed with a 3.55 gear. what is the correct p/s pump saginaw or chrysler federal? I'm sure it is suppose to have a cooler also with the gear ratio. Thanks.

I've found that 71 340 E-bodies with T/A gears typically have federal pumps with solid pulleys. The earlier cars with the standard ratio I have seen Saginaw pumps more than not.

Below is a picture of the pulley from my 340 71 cuda with 3/31 SPD
