the intake gasket only seals air except where the oil fil goes, I think you got a PCV problem.

I put a Billet Technologies PCV "Catch Can" on my 6.1 Hemi. So far I've collected 80 Ml of oil (1/3 cup) in 4000 miles. This is 80 ml of oil that did not get into my intake and deposit on my intake valves. Jim

That is a good idea. I think i will do the same. I have an 07 5.7 with 118k and i just cleaned the throttle body and it was pretty oily/gunky in there. Id hate to see the backside of my valves
