That didn't last long, I wonder if he got tired of it? Maybe he found something else he wants.

I doubt he's selling it for any other reason than it just didn't live up to his expectations. Whatever those were.

The newer cars are twice as fast and twice as nice than our old pride and joys... Someone with his money can get whatever he wants and their is alot of amazing cars to be purchased if you have unlimited funds.

Please don't get me wrong, a wing car would be at the top of my list..

Probably needs extra money for a show he is producing. Ne can always buy it back with the money he makes if the shows a hit.
Jay Leno should buy it. We need cars to come back to California than leave for back east owners.

A lot of people think that Jay Leno collects all kinds of cars and pays the big bucks. Truth be told Leno buys VERY few cars, and only owns a few Mopars. He bought a green 66 Hemi Coronet long ago, he had a customized Hemi Duster donated to him by a dying owner who wanted it to have a good home, and has a 70 Hemi Challenger that was given to him for a birthday present (by Garth Brooks).

If I had the means to collect 4 wheel rec room ornaments I would want my Hemi Daytona to be a 4 speed (because NASCAR racers didn't come with automatics) and the extra cost to find one wouldn't be an issue.

Leno also owns a Chrysler Turbine (!!!), a Chrysler "Tank Car", and several Vipers.
The lists I have seen have more Mopars that Chevys or Fords.

Mopar is pretty well represented.

A lot of his stuff are antiques, exotics, and simply oddball wierd stuff, and a bit of everything.

Leno just bought the worlds best 68 Dart GTS 383 4-speed from the original lady owner. He loves the car! Some of you might have seen it at the MCACN show, beautiful bronze car. thumbs

It's an eclectic - collection. And he is pretty packed allready since he got that second building years ago.

The total commitment of the wing cars and thier functional and how different they look might be a fit for Leno.

I could see him with a wing car before a Hemi Vert. I think us as Mopar people take the wing cars for granted a little.

I thought he would get that Mondtreverdi Hai Hemi sports car. To me they really up his alley.

It was up for sale a few years ago. Owner bragged that Leno wanted it. But I don't think Leno absolutely throws money at stuff.

Nowadays the two most popular and annoying phases are:

1. Call Graveyard Carz they'll fix it
2. Call Jay Leno he'll buy it.
