I also got my headliner from Dante. I think I'll install it this weekend (using Resto Rick's install tips). Here's another macro shot of the material

Use lots of clamps. Lowes here had a bag of assorted sized plastic clamps when I did my 69 RR. I bought 2 bags and used almost all of them at one point. Didn't have any wrinkles though! Take your time and it will turn out great!

I'll buy 3 or 4 bags, Burdar said the yorkshire cloth is easier than the vinyl.

SIDE NOTE your detail is excellent and your car will be hella accurate. Mine was already messed with and a mute point oh well

Thanks it needs a little TLC still but it's getting there. I started to install the front lower valance and grille tonight, I had to stop for a brake job.... so it's in there loosely

Without the glare you can see some of the dust she's covered in

So, that hood and grill treatment was a factory option?

Yup, it's factory

This shows that a Cuda model (with the G36 color keyed miror option?) came standard with the color keyed grille in the specified colors
http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/1972PlymouthOrderingInfo/1972_page_61.jpg

I think of it as the 72's version of the billboard stripe....very bold statement that not many opted for

I'm not sure if the color keyed grille made it into 73 production but this videpo of a 1973 test car shows it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwfFH70V5fE I also have another brochure page somewhere that shows a red 73 with a blody color grille

Planet colors Rugged Tones, Black Texture (Durable/High wear) PCR2 Paint. I decided to show a better pic since the painters sample I showed appeared more like bed liner. It's a modern paint, mimics organisol very well, should resist wax, can be applied over the actual paint
