Dos Snails OP pro stock Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,325 Orlando Fl	Well I'm feeling inquisitive today, do Scat, callies, K1 use the same forgings & machine them to their own spec? If so what is hp rating with this forging? I'm thinking about going to a larger stroke( K1) with my turbo project & abandoning the billet 180* crank project..

340SIX Doc Flappergas's Evil Twin Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 28,596 Shopping @ HoBo Fright	In the 4" stroke MP has a cast steel so it is stronger than a cast iron piece and they have the forged steel is rated at a higher HP ie} both are steel as apossed to a cast iron type. Dos Snails OP pro stock Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,325 Orlando Fl	340 mains 9" deck. A 4.125 will fit with 5.81 rods. Comes out to a 1.40 rod ratio I think... or how about a 4.250 with a 5.750 rod... my parts collection for this engine is a 3.375 stroke crank with 6.200 rods with a 2.0 pin
