They told me that they would at the Nats this year, but on the mailing label on the issue I received yesterday it had Dec. 2017 in the location where they normally have the expiration date. We will see how it works out.

It's out - E-Booger is sending me a copy. Not available on .pdf.

They did an article installing some of my 3" chambered mufflers - can't wait to see the mag.

My local B&N didn't have it. I also know that walmart used to carry it, but i dont shop there. I will suscribe but I would like to get the current issue so even if I did suscribe, there is no guarantee what my first issue would be. Anyone have a phone number? Neither Web page listed one that I could find.

Thank you. I called and the lady I talked to said on newsstands Oct 17 2017 but based on my zip code, no stores local to me so I assume no Walmart or BN

The he current issue was already sent out, so new subscribers will get the next issue not the current.

I haven't seen anything at the store that used to sell them. I had a subscription that I renewed right before their published folded. It would be nice if they start showing up again, but not holding my breath...

Interestingly there are zero Mopar magazines at the stores here. Mopar Action, Mopar Muscle and MCG used to be in some stores I frequent, but they no longer carry those magazines. Now it's just back to Car Craft, Hot Rod + Super Chevy. With so few Mopar guys doing anything with their cars here these days I guess the stores dropping the Mopar specific magazines makes sense.

I called that number yesterday and got a lady on the phone. Don't know if she's an MA employee. I thinking probably a subscription service employee.

I had a subscription when they went belly up. I don't know exactly when my subscription ended, and when the mag folded. They claim they have a list and will tell you if they owe some issues to you. They tell me I'm owed none... whistling

I did tell the lady that I wanted a new suscription. I tried to get her to send me the new issue #1 for free, but she said she'd have to charge me for it, plus shipping. No thanks, I don't need a 12.00 mag that bad.

I did agree to go ahead and renew, at which point I got put on hold. After 5 minutes, I got PO'd and hung up.

I signed up for renewal today. Then I went out to the mail box and dec 17 was in my mailbox. The label shows my subscription ending on 04/01/2018. I didn`t file for the money when the letter came out.

Looks ok so far, not sure about the feature cars but I'll see how it goes.

Mine - Dec 2017issue - showed up in the mail. I was surprised to see it, and thanks to the MA staff for sending it.
I have no idea how much of my subscription is left, but I think it's a year; all it says on the address tag is "6/1/17" and "3 SUBS".
Guess I'd better call them and see what's up. Uh, no pun intended.

Do they have an on-line version yet?

I bought the online version in 2016, and only got a couple of on-line copies...AMG has not answered any of my emails.

Paid for a 2 year subscription in August of 2016. Got my first copy October of 2017 with an expiration date on the mailing label 08/01/18 Looks like my subscription started when I paid and I'll get maybe 4 copies before the subscription run out. No renewal for me!

I had a year and a half to go on my subscription when they went belly up.

I got my December '17 issue in the mail today.

The expiration date on the label is 12/01/17...

I guess I won't be getting another issue ???

I renewed a few weeks ago and they sent me two dec 17 issues. I emailed them and told them I don`t want overlapping issues. I want my new sub to start at the end of the exp date of 6/18 as listed on the label. Anyone want the extra one? I will mail it to you for the cost of postage.

Sorry I chimed in late...busy!

ALL EXISTING SUBS WILL BE HONORED. That was part of the deal I negotiated when they asked me back. NOBODY GETS SCREWED.

That's great to hear, Rick. I had just renewed before Harris went under, and only got one on that scrip. I did get the 12/17 issue.

That's great.
Congrats on your creations entry with the publication to bring a whole new format for what we all love reading and seeing about our cars.

I totally understand you for taking the fifth.

Thumbed through the latest issue of the latest incarnation today...

8 bucks gets you:

A LOT of 'Modified Mopar'...

An A-990 clone...

Something on the Japanese cruising scene...

Some 'retro' on the Imperial gutting...

And something about the 'first' issue...

(A bargain at $3.50...Pre-CG, and RE...

I left the 'new' one on the rack...

Some time has passed since there last outing and I bet there will be some nice and fast Mopes to be featured in the near future. It's all good though because I know that magazines are all rethinking their formats and bringing some change that makes for some reading, or at the very least, picking it up and browsing.

Is that the copy of Mopar Action from November 1988 that you are looking at above.

Last one I received a few weeks back has a maroon and silver Plymouth Scamp on the cover. I would call them at this point if you have yet to get a copy.

I am torn, I like the mag, but I have been screwed by getting a subscription twice. I don't think they honored the remainder of my two year subscription I signed up for at the nats the first time, that I think I only got two issues, one before they folded, and one after they came back....

But I do wish them the best of luck; I'm not sure that it includes my money...

As far as I know, Rick is still the Tech Editor. In fact, he and Cliff recently reached out to me about Rick doing a Tech Seminar at Carlisle this year. Geoff Stunkard is the new Senior Editor of Mopar Action. I think that's what this is about. Geoff is awesome and will only make MA even better!!

I got my first issue (April) today, and I really think it is better than Mopar Muscle. I just hope they keep it up, and eventually come out with the on-line version, like they used to have.

My 2 cents

As I said, everybody should get every issue owed to them. AMG (the new publisher) was under no legal obligation to do this, but I stuck to my guns.

Problems? Let me know and I will post subscription dep't. contact info.

Now if they would only straighten out the web page...

Rick

I still get all of the Mopar mags (that are left). Also, Muscle Machines & Muscle car Review. I have been getting them all since High school.
