After 40 years I'm selling my 68 Ply GTX due to failing health..
I freshened the whole car thinking I'd be around to drive it,but that's not going to be..
The Dana was freshened..brgs..friction and steels in the locker..stock axles with new A-9's.
I put the drum brake system back on with new wheel cyls and drums, the drums measure .010 wear from new..
I freshened the front end..bushings upper and lower and replaced anything worn..
I freshened the trans..sharpened all the speed gears and the synchronizers along with the clutch sleeves ,new nos stop rings and brgs "SKF" it's all ready to power shift to your hearts content.
Engine all new ..I took out my Ultra light stuff and put in new Molnar .250 arm crank and Molnar BBC rods with 2000 bolts and 120 gram Barton pins with Ross pistons.EZ 1 heads with new valves..PSI 1224 springs..Titanium 10 degree retainers, the heads flow 350@750 on a 4.390 fixture.
I put a baby tight lash solid roller in with a 260-266@50..Smith Bros .140 wall chrome moly push rods..it idles like your Dad's stock station wagon,I can balance a nickle on the carb at idle.
The heater box and core, the rad all new.. the wiring front to back is Year One.
It is a Very Very nice GTX...all fresh,all new..kinda of a once in a lifetime car..IMHO
