Na. Not for me. But the krispy kream pumpkin spice glazed donuts the other Fri. were good. They were that Fri only special.

Pumpkin ----- is for Pumpkin Pie and that's all.

NOT to be used for anything else no matter what anyone says.

Love pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake from Olive Garden (about the only time I'll go there is in the fall when they have it up ). Anything other than those 2 items, no thanks. wink

My wife brought home some pumpkin-based pasta sauce and served it over sausage tortellini. She thought it was yummy, but that is just wrong, wrong, wrong.

Around these parts, we have whole shows dedicated to the great Pumpkin. Check out Circleville Pumpkin Show on-line. They literally shut the town down for pretty much the whole week. They’ve been doing it for years. The freeway leading to the show gets so backed up and the show itself is so busy, I don’t even attempt to go during the weekend. We take Wednesday off every year to go to the show. Wednesday is the show weigh in. It’s interesting to see farmers drive their trucks up with 1500lb Pumpkins in the bed, have a crane pick them off the trucks and place them on the scales.

You can get anything Pumpkin that you want all the way up to Pumpkin Jello shots from the local bar which are really good.

Pie, ice cream, brownies, shakes, seeds, burgers, doughnuts, cream puffs, pretzels, fudge, pizza and on and on.
