huge swap, but a lot of super old stuff, like 50s and down. worth checking out for sure but not a lot of 60s or mopar stuff there.

it's so huge, a one day trip will not see much. however, it should be a "must" for everyone ! as was mentioned, there may not be much mopar stuff, nor 60's parts, but you will see SO much NEAT OLD STUFF [NOS] there will be something of interest to you as a car guy. guaranteed ! my buddy's are heading out tuesday, and are spending their "normal" four days ! they have been doing this for years now, and we are "getting up there". i don't go because i can't walk very well any more, and those guys don't waste any time. [i secretly think they are "mall walkers"]

The car corral is cool as well as going to the aaca museum. Hershey has some inside seating in the hockey arena with soft seats.

One day ... HA! You may as well not bother, you'll just be pissed you didn't go for three. Don't expect any muscle car parts - least of all Mopar, Hershey ain't the place for that.

While it is true that Chrysler's at Carlisle offers way more Mopar stuff, Fall Hershey can't be beat if you are a car guy. I have been going since the days of the muddy fields- 1980's on up. I look forward to it every year and it becomes a city unto it's own for the week.

I guarantee you will see cars that you have never ever seen before, and the swap meet is unbelievable. If you go you will be glad you did.

As others have responded, the Hershey show is a must see for the car person. This show is unbelievable and is such a history lesson. Mopar muscle car parts are not going to be jumping out on every row, but if you look and know what your looking at, you can find some very good deals.
As a vendor at the show, it is amazing at how many people come from other parts of the world for this show. I never knew that the DeSoto brand had such a strong following in Europe. These people do not purchase just a couple items, they will purchase a whole roll and have it shipped back to their shops. It is no where as good as it was years ago, but still an amazing event.
In the early evenings, you will see any and everything motoring around the grounds. During the day, no issues with carts or scooters running you over. All show promoters should attend this show to see how things should go down. Beautiful grounds and usually nice weather.
Also, stay around for Saturday for the judged show. Cars, trucks, motorcycles that you have only seen in books or TV will be making the drive from the staging area to the show field. It is an amazing show if you enjoy all aspects of automotive history.

I used to go on Friday, walk the car corral, take a ton of pics and be satisfied. Then, in 2013, I went on Saturday because of the rain on Friday and got a look at the actual AACA show.

Now I do the car corral on Friday, spend the night in a hotel, and come back on Saturday for the show.

474 pics over two days last year.

Fall Hershey is about double the size of Fall Carlisle. Wednesday through Friday you can check out the vendors and the cars for sale in the car corral. You can spend the better part of a day just looking at the cars in the car corral as there are that many of them there. It can easily take three days to walk through all the vendors (close to 30 miles if you walk each and every row of vendors as well as the car corral). Saturday is the last day of the event and the one day car show is the only thing happening on Saturday (vendors close up on Saturday).
There will be more Mopars of any vintage at Hershey then at Fall Carlisle, but there will be alot of other stuff to walk past to find it.

For those who can view photo albums on Facebook, here are the photos I took today, Wednesday, on the first day of the Hershey show. We covered maybe 10 percent of the vendor area and half of the car corral. I bought a pair of nice used bumpers for my 67 Coronet for $400 and the chrome is really nice.

I went last year for the first time. Going back tomorrow. We seriously considered buying a Jeepster that was in the car corral, but wound up with out '55 Plymouth wagon instead.

Here are my pictures from Thursday at Hershey. After two days at a brisk walk, we've made it about halfway through the vendors.

I pulled in at a NJ truck stop and saw a guy in a Charger t-shirt. He was talking about Hershey.

Thought it might have been one of you guys.
