I tell you what I've been so blessed with getting my motor together. Anytime I had a problem or question from a vendor I have bought off of they have more than went out of their way to help me. Just to name a few who have and I want to thank them. Trick Flow Heads, Holley, The RT Garage, Mancini Racing, Dominic Thumper, Comp Cams, SST and my engine builder Kenny Hemmann. I know people are busy and have things to do but I called a vendor a bit ago that I have bought off of to ask for some simple help and he pretty much said call these people and blew me off, those people couldn't help me either. It wasn't nothing out of the way I thought. I just needed to get some parts ordered today. Anyways for the guys running Trick Flow heads with TTi headers I'm trying to figure out the best route to run my my Spark Plug wires that look neat and good.. Take in mind I'm running fabricated valve covers with the bolt holes basically hidden except for the 1 in the front that I may be able to use. Any pics or advice would greatly be appreciated. Here's a pic of my engine. Thanks guys!!!

Part of me understands and part of me says its a easy to figure out yourself if you have the motor in and headers on.

Not sure what your TTIs look like, but i used the Maddog headers and it was easiest to go under the headers. I was able to figure out my Firecore dist on my own. He sent me a pm or 2 trying to sell me one of his dist when he seen i was looking for a dist. First time i call him with an issue and he turns me to someone else. It was on a holiday, so whatever.

having had the problem of plug wires getting hot & sagging down only to burn against the headers tubes, i went for the under the header plan. now when things get hot they tend to drop away from the headers which is a good thing if your racing & no longer changing to 7 cylinders at mid track. with this set up theres no chance of getting it wrong & crossing over plug wires as they only fit 1 way, the correct way.

The issue that you are dealing with is that no vendor can predict what every customer feels is right with so many different combinations of parts out there. What my be right for one guy may not be what another wants.

You will get exactly what you want if you take some time and measure exact routing that looks perfect to you. Take some rope or whatever... and some tie wraps. Lay them out like they are the wires with the routing that you want, then measure each one. Give him those lengths with the ends you want, and you will have perfect wires.
If you aren't willing to do that, then it will be hit or miss on finding what you need. No vendor wants to ship parts back and fourth and then get bashed. He would rather be sure you are getting what you need.

You will be much happier with the end results if you put some effort into it.

Under the headers is the way to go. Can't even see them. I have all 90's for plug boots except for #6. That is a slightly bent straight boot. Happy wiring up

I use 2" TTI headers on my 440/493 with Firecore wires. Its just a simple setup but it works fine and I have never burnt any plug wires. Ron

This is the pass side as the first two wires go down behind the alt and underneath to the plugs. Works great. Ron

Not saying that it's ok for a vendor to blow you off, but you are really asking a question that is purely personal preference and really is outside of a vendors responsibilities. If he gives direction on something like that, and a wire burns, he may feel he would get into a warranty claim for something he shouldn't be responsible for, so I sort of get it.
With that said however, I try to make a point of always going back to vendors that help out. My list of Guys that have given me great support and I will always go back to:
-Calvert
-Cass at Dr Diff
-Paul Forte at Turbo Action

The wires all go under on my big blocks with headers. The wires on the Challenger all have 90 degree boots and hang down into the diaper. #6 on the BB A-body with TTI's needs some heat shield. Just like Ron's setup, I used the shock bolt to keep the back two wires away from the headers. The front two are separated with two hole separators and just go down along the front of the head and under.

Yeah, this is pretty basic stuff, but also not easy to answer if you're not standing there looking at it. Personal preference, front accessories, etc, all matter. Don't know on your set, but pre-terminated wires are usually made for a specific installation. Over the valve cover, under the header, etc.

"make my own so I can run them where-ever I want to."

This is actually the correct answer.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
