I hope some of you were able to watch the live feed.I enjoyed what I felt was some of the best racing all year.My friend in x275 split his ls super deck block with a couple of billet rods so it will be interesting to find out why.

It was so much fun! Open Comp is pretty much anything goes. From 12 second vehicles down to 7 second ones. Pro-tree (transbrake allowed but I footbraked), and your index number is a tenth under your fastest qualifying pass, which is why you see guys slowing down on the live feed. A lot of strategy involved. You would love it.

Fastest MPH I saw all weekend was 255. Unreal for a door car.

A promod (after a 200 MPH+ pass) went off the end of the track just a couple hundred feet away from our pit area. That's not something you see every day.

Dustergirl: we like to camp back there also. Once you come off the track right there is the camp spot. Its fun watching the planes takeoff and land also. Maybe next year I will stop over and meet your husband and you. I seen you guys out riding your 4 wheeler this year. Birdtracker

How did you know it was me on the quad? The red hair give it away? LOL

Our neighbors at Shakedown this year were a pair of killdeer birds.
